Privacy notice
Last updated: [Date of publication]
This notice explains what personal information we collect through dahju.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We have kept it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Dahju* is provided by [Company legal name] ("PointRock", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number [Company number], with its registered office at [Registered address].
We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number [ICO registration number].
If you have any questions about this notice or how we use your information, email us at [Contact email].
What we collect
When you use the Book a demo form, we collect:
- your name, work email address, organisation and role
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- what you would like to see, and any message you write
- a record that you confirmed you had read this notice, and the date and time you sent the form
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information so the site can be delivered and protected. This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this only to run and secure the website.
We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on dahju.com, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Our fonts and images are served from our own website, so your visit is not shared with font or image services. If this changes, we will update this notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your request, arrange a demo or discuss the pilot programme with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us about Dahju*, and, where you are asking to enter into an agreement with us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you and follow up about your request. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running and growing our business.
- To keep the website and form secure, for example to stop spam and misuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in protecting our website and the people who use it.
- To comply with our legal obligations, where we have to keep or share information by law.
The tick box on the form confirms that you have read this notice. We will not add you to marketing emails unless you ask us to or agree to it separately, and you can stop hearing from us at any time.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced our interests against yours. You can object at any time, as explained below.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to [24 months] after our last contact with you, and then delete them. If you become a customer or pilot partner, we keep the information we need for that relationship under the terms we agree with you.
Technical information processed by our hosting provider is kept for a short period in their logs, in line with their own retention policies, and is not used to identify visitors.
International transfers
Form enquiries are stored in the UK (London), and the email copy is held by IONOS in its UK and EU data centres. The website is delivered through Vercel's worldwide network, and the part of the website that receives the form may run in the United States before your enquiry is stored. Some of our service providers are based in, or provide support from, the United States, so your information may be accessed from outside the UK. When that happens we make sure it is protected, for example by relying on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by using the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. You can ask us for more detail.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (access)
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete (rectification)
- ask us to delete your information (erasure)
- object to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests
- ask us to limit how we use your information (restriction)
- ask us to transfer information you gave us to you or another organisation (portability), where this applies
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, email [Contact email]. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
